Our goal at the office of Anthony Dioguardi, D.M.D. is to ensure that your patients are being treated according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine protocols: AASM/AADSM Clinical Practice Guidelines for Oral Applince Therapy (July 2015)
Dr. Dioguardi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and our office is an AADSM accredited dental sleep medicine facility.
Once we have received a referral for a patient that has been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, we will perform a comprehensive evaluation of our own to determine which type of the FDA approved appliances would be the most appropriate match for your patient. There is no fee for this initial consultation.
Our office is a Medicare DME participating provider and our staff is experienced in obtaining patient reimbursement for dental sleep appliances through various medical insurance companies.
There is one inclusive fee for the appliance and all subsequent adjustments before and immediately after the follow-up sleep study.
We are equipped with Resmed ApneaLInkTM Air Type 3 HST devices to assist in titration before referring the patient back to the sleep physician for evaluation of the efficacy of the appliance.

Dr. Dioguardi routinely lectures throughout the state to various physician, dentist, dental hygienist, and CPAP supports organizations in order to promote awareness of sleep disorders and facilitate the referral process to sleep centers.
